Jill Connors MA, RCT
Jill Connors is a Registered Counselling Therapist (RCT) with the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapist. Jill has a special appreciation for rural Nova Scotia. She was born and raised just outside of the Truro area. She moved to the Annapolis Valley for school in 2017, and settled in the area, after falling in love with the beautiful scenery, the rich agricultural and horticultural heritage, and the hardworking community.
Education and Experience
Jill received a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from ST. FX University, and an advanced diploma in Addictions Community Outreach from NSCC. Previous work experience includes youth work and addictions counselling support. In her capacity as a counselling therapist, she has enjoyed working with adults in both private settings and the public health care system.


Therapy With Jill
Jill takes a client-centred approach to counselling, drawing on various evidence-based interventions tailored to client needs. Jill views counselling as a collaborative partnership between therapist and client and she strives to create a warm, safe, compassionate space for clients to learn skills to improve their functioning and work toward their goals.
